What a weekend!
I went to Mt. Vernon for Easter weekend. Gosh, it is always a great time when I get to be with my family! Not only was it Easter weekend, but we celebrated my Grannys 86th birthday! I got to see Emma play t-ball on Friday, which was very entertaining to say the least. She was very busy putting sand in her glove! :) Then on Saturday, we went to watch Emma play soccer. She seems to be more into soccer! On Saturday afternoon, we grilled (for Grannys bday) and dyed Easter eggs. My sisters and I always dye eggs every year and its always a blast!

JOB UPDATE:
I had an interview with a school today in Keller. I feel like it went really well, but she told me that I won't hear anything until May! :) I feel hopeful with everything! God will place me where I'm suppose to be!

April's Fool :)
Being an Elementary teacher, I love and trust my students in everything they say or do to me. So today, I was walking down the hall and a first grade student stops me. He said "Ms Cason, your shoe is untied!" Oh, I though and looked down (I forgot I had pumps on:)). In the mean time, he said, "April Fools!" and started laughing.
A FIRST GRADER TOTALLY FOOLED ME! :) IT DEF. MADE MY DAY MUCH BETTER! I LOVE WHAT I DO!:)

It's Almost Spring Break!!
This week has been very uneventful! Today is the first day that I have had to work. I don't know if its the weather or if its just the fact that spring break is coming up, but the kids have been CRAZY today. Not only have I had to crawl under a table to "talk" to a student, but I had to deal lots of emotional kids. Now, I love my babies but I can't wait until the break!!
I need lots of prayers about getting a job! Im starting to feel all the pressure of applying to the school districts around here. I recently passed my ESL certification, so that is one more thing to add to my list of qualifications. I feel like I have applied just about every where! I have two interviews set up already (Frenship ISD, Keller ISD job fair).
Tonight should be fun! I'm going to eat with the girls at TGIF in Lewisville. It's always nice to see the girls!

It's a GIRL!
Wow, this weekend was amazing, but soo tiring at the same time!! On Friday, Erin, Joell, Blair, Jenn and I went to Uptown to check the places out around there! After staying there for several hours, we discovered that Uptown was just not for us. We would rather hang out in the Denton/Addison area! Oh well, at least we tried something new!!

Saturday was EVEN better!! Rachele and Frank told us that they were having a GIRL!! We were soooo excited! I can't wait until my new little niece is here! They have not decided on any names yet, but we couldn't be any happier! Also, on Saturday Ty had his bday party at Main Event! We had tons of fun playing games and seeing everyone! Then on Saturday night, the girls went out again, but this time in good ole Denton! It was fun getting to see everyone!!
My sweet little niece! Top pic: her face. Bottom pic: her tiny little foot!
The sisters!
Soon to be Daddy and Mommy!
Well, I hope everyone has a great week!
Something good that happened to me this weekend:
I realized just how blessed I am in life! I have a wonderful family and great friends!

Pink or Blue?!
Well, this past weekend was super fun (like always)! I got to see everyone in Lubbock! We didn't do too much..mainly just hung out and had fun!
So my nephew, Ty, turned 9 on Monday!! It's crazy how quick time flies! I remember when he was just a newborn!! Speaking of Ty, he will be a big brother in Aug and I can't wait until I'm an aunt again! Rachele and Frank will find out on Friday what she will be having, but she isn't going to tell us until Sat (when they come up for Ty's bday party!) I hope she has a GIRL! :) I think she does, too!
Something good that happened today:
I got told today by one of my first graders that I was the BEST teacher ever! It really made my day!:) I love being around my babies (well most of the time)!!

25 things!
This came from facebook, but I feel like it completely describes the person who I am today! Anyways, this weekend should be lots of fun! I am going to Lubbock with a couple of friends!
1. First of all, I have one of the BEST families that I could have ever asked for. As crazy as this sounds, I'd rather spend time w/ them than most other people. We may seem a little crazy at times but we know how to have fun. They are my life and are alwayyyss there for me!
2. At times, I can be a little OCD about keeping things clean and germ free. I swear I use half-bottle of germx daily. Not only do I like to keep things clean at the apt. but also I feel like everything has a place...see told ya im OCD.
3. I love my niece and nephew (including the one that will be here in Aug:)) so much! My world revolves around those babies!
4. I LOVE my name. I wouldn't change it for the world.
5. Bella is my baby. I know she is very, ummm whats the word, RUDE but I still love her! If she has ever snapped at you (Joell and Rae), she really loves you deep down! lol
6. College was one of the best experiences that I could have ever had. From meeting my besties (happy hour) to living w/Tiff and Erin, from turning 21 to graduating...I have made so many unforgetable memories that will NEVER be replaced.
7. I am a FIRM believer that everything happens for a reason.
8. I firmly believe that my purpose in life is to teach and help others. There is a just a feeling I get when I stand in front of 20 kiddos that puts pure happiness in my heart. Which brings me to my next point...
9. I love kids! I think they are the best! Not only can they turn your bad day around, but they sure make you feel so loved and special.
10. This summer, my best friend got married. I felt extremely honored to be her maid of honor. We may not always talk every day or see each other a lot, but we will ALWAYS be best friends.
11. Everyone should experience love at least once in their lifetime. Don't be scared, take a chance! :)
12. I know some people may not be proud of where they came from, but I am proud of where I came from. Mt. Vernon is a special and unique town. I know it has its downfalls, but it truly has some of the best and most caring people in it. Mt Vernon made me who I am today.
13. Although I quit, ADPi (Erin and Tiff too) helped me survive my freshman year of college. Through it, I met amazing and beautiful women (who will always be my friends no matter).
14. I love living in my own place (although I do miss the roomies (and craig) :) at times)!
15. Captivating is a book that I recommend to everyone who ever finds themselves struggling. It changed my life!
16. I miss my bestiest friend(Megan) who is in Iraq. I feel so far away from her...We have always been in the same area from Kinder until last July, so being away for so long is hard!
.17. Im obessed with lip gloss/carmex/chapstick. I use it multiple times a day and I use it every night before I go to bed!
18. I love when Im out in public somewhere and see old( 70+years) married people. They always look so in love...
19. Im such a morning person! (be advised if you live w/ me i will come wake you up by singing a good morning song!) :) Erin and Tiff heard it more than once!
20. I'm a very POSITIVE person! I try to not let negative people get me down.
21. On the other hand, I can be slightly blonde at times..haha
22. This summer I was totally addicted to The Twlight Series( thanks to my personal, awesome librarian Rae). I don't care who you are...don't talk crap about the books until you have read at least one. They are great plus Edward is gorgeous!
23. Thanks to my student teaching cadre, I have meet some amazing people and gotten closer to others.
24. I can't go anywhere without my cell phone. I live on it! sad...i know!
25. God has truly blessed me in everyway possible!
